Mother Son Bowling Night

This Saturday was the first ever Arrupe Mother Son Bowling Night. I went with my Mom and we definitely had a night we’ll never forget. We started out at 6:15, which means we arrived at 6:45, so we were in the second wave of bowlers. This meant we got to go to the Arcade and game it up until it was our turn. At the Arcade, I won a pair of groovy 70’s glasses and a Lucky Rabbit’s Foot for my brother. My Mom says that the Rabbit’s Foot thing is from her generation. (Personally, I think it’s gross.) One of my fellow “Arrupians” at the Arcade won the 1000 ticket jackpot!!! My personal high on that game was only 50 tickets! By the time we hit the alleys however; we were ready to play! I started off the game with two strikes in a row, just my luck! By the end of the evening I had drained every single last drip of luck from my body in order to end my bowling with a pile of both spares and strikes. One of my lucky moves was putting on my glasses and sliding down the alley. Another memorable moment was when I went to throw the bowling ball and my finger got stuck in the hole! I had to pry it out with some WD40 so I could resume playing. (Just joking!) Moreover, it was a great night and it gave me an opportunity to spend some quality time with my Mom and have an awesome time with my friends.
