|Dr. Stephen Durant ’71 Speaks to the Senior Class|
On April 16, Dr. Stephen Durant ‘71 from Harvard University and Mass General Hospital, came back to BC High to share his wisdom and advice with the senior class as they prepare for the transition from high school to college.
On April 15, The Homeric Academy of BC High presented the annual academic specimen of The Odyssey of Homer. This year’s members of the Homeric Academy were examined by Professors Graeme Bird, Department of Languages and Linguistics at Gordon College and Gregory Crane, Department of Classics at Tufts University.

On Friday, April 4, the BC High community observed the United Nations International Day of Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, to raise consciousness about the tragic result of landmines and other remnants of war.
|Latin & Greek Students Excel at Holy Cross Classics Day|
On April 10th, several BC High students participated at the annual Holy Cross Classics Day. Michael Kelley '14 and Corey Scannell '14 were awarded first prize out of nearly 50 schools for their work in the Manuscript Challenge.
