Welcome ,

End of the School Year Prayer

God of all beginnings and endings,
We praise and thank you for the gift of this school year.
It has been a time filled with grace and blessings,
With challenges and opportunities, joys and sorrows.
The days have passed quickly, O Lord.
The weeks, the months, the seasons, the holidays and holy days,
The exams, vacations, breaks, and assemblies,
All have come forth from your hand.

While we trust that your purposes have always been at work each day,
Sometimes it has seemed difficult to understand and appreciate
Just what you have been up to in our school.

Give us the rest and refreshment we need this summer.
Let our efforts of this past year bear fruit.
Bring all of our plans to a joyful conclusion,
And bless us, according to your will,

With the fulfillment of our summer hopes and dreams.
Watch over us in the weeks of rest ahead,
And guide each day as you have done this past year.
Help us return to school with a new spirit and a new energy.

May we continue to grow
In age, wisdom, knowledge, and grace
All the days of our lives.

Amen.

Book, Digital Content, and Summer Reading Lists - Next year will be a transition year as we move toward becoming a digital institution. Since every student is required to have his own iPad, we have researched as many ebooks and web-based publications as are available to-date. Unfortunately, not all textbooks are available electronically. Therefore, our book lists for next year are a combination of hard and soft cover books, ebooks, and web-based publications. The book lists, which will be forthcoming, will provide specific information on how to purchase books, ebooks, access codes to ebooks, subscriptions, and publications. Most hard and soft cover books may be purchased through Adams Book Company at k12studentdirect.com. Other books may be purchased through websites indicated on the book lists. Several access codes for ebooks and publications must be purchsed thorugh BC High. Other content, including specific apps, is free and will be downloaded in class during the first days of school.

In the middle of June, you will receive the book list for printed and digital textbooks that you will need to purchase. Instructions on where to purchase them will be included.

In early July, you will receive the list of electronic materials that must be purchased through the school. Instructions and total costs will be included.

The summer reading list will be availble online within the next couple of weeks.  We will also include it in the Arrupe Update.
