Registration for summer 2016 is now open!
Summer is great opportunity for students to explore new interests, remediate or move ahead in a subject, gain new skills and make lasting friendships. Our summer program offers a wide range of Academic Enrichment courses, Sports Clinics, Remedial and Strength and Conditioning Programs for boys and girls entering grades 6 through 11.

Academic Enrichment For entering grades 6-11
Our Academic program offers enrichment, remedial, and standardized test preparation classes for girls and boys entering grades 6-11. Our enrichment classes run for either 3 or 6 weeks depending on the class.
The remedial classes, which are intended for students who did not meet their school's minimum grade requirements, meet for 5 weeks. The ACT classes run for three weeks. Sports Clinics For entering grades 6-11
Our sports clinics focus on the development of the individual athlete in his/her specific sport. Small group sessions assure that each player receives personalized instruction in all aspects of the game.
The goal is to teach the fundamentals that will allow each player to achieve personal excellence and a better understanding of and appreciation for the game. The clinics are designed for players of all ability levels, and the program of instruction is intended to target specific skills and to promote improvement at every level. |BC High "Creative Computing" Summer Camp|
For boys and girls ages 9 - 14
During this three week summer camp students will: Week 1 - Scratch and Virtually Reality: Students will use Scratch to program (code) their own interactive stories, games, and animations while learning the fundamentals of programming (coding); Week 2 - Minecraft and Virtual Reality: Students will use Minecraft to develop logical thinking and problem solving skills while creatively expressing themselves through 3D artistry, design and architecture; and Week 3 - Video Games and Virtual Reality: Students will be introduced to the unreal world of video games and Virtual Reality, will teach them to design amd program video games, and will create their very own VR environments.
The Immersive Education Initiative (www.immersiveeducation.org) will be holding this summer camp at BC High from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the weeks of August 1, 8 and 15.
