The primary purpose of BC High Connects is to ensure that we remain together, collective, and connected as a community. One that consists of students, faculty, and staff, parents, alumni, Jesuits, and friends. While its intention is also to maintain continuity of learning, the relationship and connection component is the key aspect, acknowledging that this is necessary for learning to occur. In fact, this applies whether we are a community physically together onsite, or remote. In our Jesuit context, relationship is at the heart of learning and formation. It is a learning marked by depth of experience, regardless of the circumstances. It is an authentic formation of young men into Christ-centered contemplatives in action.
In the words of Fr. Matthew Carnes SJ: “Still one community, still one mission, still one life”.
