Proposed Bus Routes

BC High is pleased to share the proposed routes and important details for families interested in this bus service for Fall 2026!

ROUTE 1: (will depart approx. 6:45 a.m.)

  • Somerville/Medford: Raymour & Flanigan,
  • Assembly Sq Mall - 177 Middlesex Ave
  • Charlestown: Whole Foods, 27 Austin St
  • Boston: Haymarket T Station - John F Fitzgerald Surface Road Side/Hanover Street
  • Boston: Cheers / Hampshire House - 84 Beacon St

ROUTE 2: (will depart approx. 6:40 a.m.)

  • Bridgewater: Winter Place Plaza - 220 Winter St
  • Brockton: BAT Station - Commercial St (across from Police Station)
  • Randolph: Gateway Plaza (Dunkin’ Donuts), 1395 N. Main St
  • Milton: Mary C Lane playground - Randolph Ave
ROUTE 3: (will depart approx. 6:45 a.m.)
  • Hanover: Panera Bread - 1401 Washington St
  • Hingham: Derby St. Shops - DeScenza Diamonds, 114 Derby St
  • Braintree: Guitar Center - 255 Grossman Drive

ROUTE 4: (will depart approx. 6:45 a.m.)

  • Cohasset: Shaw’s - 739 Chief Justice Hwy
  • Hingham: Parking lot across from Police Station, off Shipyard Dr.
  • Quincy: Stop and Shop - 495 Southern Artery

ROUTE 5: (will depart approx. 6:40 a.m.)

  • Newton/Chestnut Hill: Wegmans - 200 Boylston St
  • West Roxbury: Roche Brothers - 1800 Centre St

All buses will leave BC High at 4:30 p.m. for the return trip. Timing for route start times may vary based on traffic patterns at the beginning of school.  

Important Information & Next Steps

Upon enrollment at BC High, we would ask families for interest in the bus service. Details are below:

  • Cost: $3,000 per student, billed to your FACTS account. (this is the equivalent of approx. $18/day. There is no financial aid available for the bus)
  • Capacity: Each bus requires a minimum of 44 students to operate. Enrollment will be on a first come, first served basis and is for a full academic year.
  • Response: Please let the enrollment team if this is something your family would be interested in.

  • Real-time tracking is available through the BusWhere app, enabling families to monitor the bus location at any time.
  • Our transportation partner is a family-owned business with over 70 years of experience.
  • All drivers are professionals who have undergone rigorous background and safety checks, and are trained in first aid and CPR.
  • Buses feature state-of-the-art tracking and camera equipment to ensure student safety.
