The residence for retired priests of the Archdiocese of Boston was filled with music as the BC High Chamber Choir performed enjoyed some favorite songs. Students were happy to know that the Salve Regina is considered “the most sacred hymn to Boston’s Priests.”

The audience included four BC High alumni:
Msgr. John McDonough ’45
Msgr. Paul Ryan ‘49
Msgr. Peter Martocchio ‘48
Fr. Frederick McGowan ’42

After the concert, the students and priests spent some time speaking. Msgr. McDonough, a retired Major General in the Air Force and Pentagon Chaplain said, “I have traveled a great deal all over the world with many memories, [but] my very best memories are the ones from my years at Boston College High School.”
