Costa Rica

In collaboration with Explorica Tours, the Hyde Center is happy to once again offer an end of year travel opportunity to Costa Rica! All Arrupe students are eligible to apply. Applications for this program and enrollment information can be found here.

BC High faculty/staff will lead the trip and students will travel to a volcano and hot springs, kayak across a lake, visit a local school, and zip line through the tropical forest. They will also study a broad range of flora, fauna, and ecosystems at Costa Rica’s national parks, institutes, and reserves.

    Students studying Greek can spend one week visiting iconic sites such as the Athenian Agora, the Acropolis, and the archaeological site of Delphi. You’ll even get the opportunity to declaim Homer in a Greek theater, see where the apostle Paul delivered a sermon, and walk through the ancient ruins of the Parthenon.

    In this ten-day program in Hanoi and Hue, you’ll work alongside Blue Dragon, a local foundation working with street children around issues of human trafficking.
