We will be using the
SCOREHOLIO app to manage the BC High
Cornhole Tournament. All players must download the app to permit efficient management of the tournament. Please follow these instructions.
Download the Scoreholio App and Register for the Tournament
- Download Scoreholio App
- Open the App and click the Green Player Profile Button
- Enter First & Last Name
- Click Red "Send Verification Email" Button
- Check Email for 4 Digit Code
- Enter Code and click Validate Code
- Enable Notifications - Important as it will allow you to get court assignments on your phone during the tournament
- Team Captain - Visit this link: https://share.scoreholio.com/PvtdwrWPpSb to access the tournament
- Use the Green Register Button to Add your team
- Optional: Other Team Member can visit the link and "Join" the existing team. Note the second Team Member should NOT create a new team.
Check-in Prior to the Start of the Tournament
- Ensure Notifications are enabled prior to the start of the tournament; important as it will allow you to get court assignment notifications on your phone during the tournament
- Team Captain checks in with a Boston Cornhole Staff Member when both team members are present. Note, if your team is not already in the App, we will require you to download the app and be scanned in. This would create a bottleneck at check in. Therefore, please follow the instructions above to register your team prior to tournament check in.
Tournament Play
- Once play begins, Team Captains (and optionally both team members) will be notified via the app on your phone of your court assignments. This will be the primary means of communication throughout the event. Therefore, it is important to be mindful of your phone during the tournament. The PA system will only be used as backup for communications.
- Scoring this year will be done via electronic tablets. Once both teams are present at a court, "Start" the tournament on the tablet. At the completion of a match, the tablet will allow the match to be submitted. "Submit" and "Confirm" the match result; this is a two-step process. Please be sure that you are scoring for the correct team (Player names are displayed on the tablets).
