Can Non-Catholic Boys Thrive at BC High?

Boys do not have to be Catholic to attend BC High. While the school is grounded in Jesuit Catholic traditions and values, BC High is open to students of all faiths and backgrounds. The emphasis is on fostering spiritual growth and moral development within the context of the school’s Jesuit identity, but students are encouraged to explore and deepen their own spiritual lives, regardless of their religious affiliation.

BC High welcomes a diverse student body and seeks to provide a holistic education that respects and nurtures all students’ spiritual journeys, regardless of religious background.

How Do Non-Catholics Participate at BC High?

Students at BC High will be expected to participate in the school’s religious programs, including Masses, retreats, and service opportunities. These activities are part of the broader educational experience that reflects the school’s commitment to faith, service, and community—values that are central to the Jesuit tradition. However, non-Catholic students are not required to convert or adhere to Catholic practices; the focus is on growing in personal faith and values in a respectful, inclusive environment.
