Massachusetts Attorney General Talks About Standing Up for Others

The Attorney General was welcomed by President Regan, English teacher, Charles Shaw and a group of student leaders. The student leaders were members of the Diversity Council, Student Council, Celtic-Culture Club, St. Louis Project, Black Latino Student Union and Forever Our Brothers and Sisters.
As she addressed the DACA topic, Ms. Healey spoke of the Ignatian identity students are taught while at BC High. “These values are preparing students to take their place in the world as competent, responsible and compassionate leaders. We need to stick up for the ideals you’re learning at BC High like intellectual honesty, social justice, and equality, and pass them on to others.” Ms. Healey urged students to take up the mantle of public service and commitment to helping others. She recognized Ryan McWade ’18 and Sayvion Jones ’18, specifically, for their outstanding care for others in their community.
