  • Choir Sings at Regina Cleri

    On January 25, the Boston College High School Chamber Choir visited the retired priests of the Archdiocese of Boston at the Regina Cleri Residence. The choir shared their talents with an audience of more than twenty priests. Among them were BC High alumni, including Father Frederick McGowan ’42 and Monsignor Paul Ryan '49.

  • Join us for the Winter Arts Reception

    Broad brush strokes, bold hues, and beautiful clean lines are just a few ways to describe the work on display at the Winter Arts Reception.

    Enter a BC High Art studio on any given day, and you will see students making art, making meaning, and making communities. Visual art is hands-on, messy, an often an eye-opening experience for students. In the studio, young men are drawing, painting, printing, cutting, carving, working with clay, wood, and wire. You'll hear cameras clicking and students articulating their ideas, values, and visions. You’ll also witness class critiques and watch young artists asking tough questions, taking new perspectives, and continually refining their work.

    McNeice Pavilion was a sea of red bandannas this past Monday, as students, faculty, and staff wore them proudly on their arms, heads, and as scarves for author Tom Rinaldi. Rinaldi was the guest speaker for a presentation by the Corcoran Living Library Lecture Series and author of The Red Bandanna, BC High’s All-School read that was chosen because of its connection to the mission and the Graduate at Graduation.
