Academic Resource Center

As educators, our mission is to challenge and support all students, foster academic success, personal responsibility and leadership potential within the scholastic, spiritual and extracurricular spheres of BC High.
The Academic Resource Center (ARC) is a vital tool for students who seek guidance on time management, balancing academic responsibilities and assistance on daily assignments. The Center offers support services for all students to achieve their academic goals, and works to compliment, rather than substitute, the academic support given to students by their teachers. The ARC is located in the Corcocan Library, and is open from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday and Friday during school hours.

What We Offer

  • Individual tutoring with the National Honor Society
  • Afterschool homework room
  • Organizational and time management strategies

Learning Differences & ADHD

BC High is also committed to working with qualified students who have learning differences (LD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Though all students at BC High meet the same admission criteria, we will work within our capabilities to provide support services for students who have documented LD and/or ADHD.
