BC High is a vibrant, active campus with countless opportunities for prospective families to experience what it means to be a part of a loving community. 
The best way to learn more about BC High is to meet with us in person. We host a number of events both on and off campus for you to talk with community members, who are eager to share their personal experiences. For many of these offerings, you can register online using your Ravenna account.

On Campus Events

  • Campus Tours (ongoing)

    Taking a tour is the most personal way for you to see the campus and address your individual questions. You will see classrooms, the Hyde Center for Global Education, our fine arts facilities, athletic complex, and more. Tours are offered weekdays by appointment only. We will work to accommodate your schedule, so please contact the office directly by emailing or call 617-474-5010 to arrange a convenient time.
  • Interviews (optional)

    Interviews are not required for admission, however we do understand it may be important in your search process to meet with one of our admission counselors.   • Middle & High School Admission Fair (September 9, 2018)

    BC High hosts a middle and high school admission fair for any students and families who are looking for private school enrollment options. Admission representatives from more than 50 schools are present to share more about their offerings. Types of schools include religious, independent, single gender, and co-ed to boarding, day, large, and small schools.

    This year's event was on Sunday, September 9. BC High will be at other school fairs throughout the fall so we hope to see you at one of those programs.
  • Open Houses (October and November)

    Open House programs include current students, alumni, faculty, staff, athletic coaches, and current parents who are eager to share their BC High story with you. For those who are looking for the most expansive opportunity to learn about BC High, this is the event you want to attend. You will be able to tour our campus, learn about our academic and advising programs, the Hyde Center for Global Education, and the many co-curricular opportunities available. Applying for admission and financial aid will also be addressed during the Open House programs. Registration is required prior to this event.

    We have hosted two open houses this fall. Our remaining date is for:

  • Information Nights (October - December)

    Information Nights are held during the year for both the Arrupe Division and High School. These interactive events generally have smaller audiences and provide a more focused perspective of BC High. Each program begins at 6 p.m. and should conclude by 8 p.m. Information Night dates include:

    Arrupe Division (Grades 7-8)

  • Eagle for a Day Program (mid-October - mid-March)

    Eagle for a Day program offers you the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a BC High student. You will be hosted by a current student as you attend their classes, meet their teachers and enjoy lunch in the student cafeteria. Prospective high school students will spend the entire day, while the visit for Arrupe students will conclude at 11:15 a.m. This program is offered from October 2018 through March 2019.

  • Coffee Conversations (on entrance exam mornings)

    Will your son be taking an exam here at BC High on December 1 or January 5? If so, please join us for conversations starting at 8:30 a.m. Current parents and an admission counselor will answer questions and share their BC High experiences over coffee and pastries in a relaxed setting. This is a great opportunity to ask your specific questions and hear different perpsectives about the BC High experience. Tours will also be offered.

  • School Fairs (September - November)

    School Fairs are scheduled in the fall and typically are held on the campus of middle or secondary schools. These events, which are generally open to the public, provide prospective parents and students the opportunity to be introduced to a variety of schools. During these events you will have the opportunity speak individually with representatives of the Office of Admission to learn more about BC High. Pre-registration is generally not required for these events. If you would like to learn if we will be at your school, please call the Office of Admission at 617-474-5010,
  • Community Information Sessions (November - December)

    Community Information Sessions provide you with an informal opportunity to speak with current BC High students and parents, along with other community members in a relaxed setting. These evenings offer a deeper level of conversation about the application process, our academic programs, the BC High community, and also provide unique insights into the lives of our students and their experiences at BC High. Your family is welcome to attend any location.
