BC High is a vibrant, active campus with countless opportunities for prospective families to experience what it means to be a part of a loving community. 
The best way to learn more about BC High is to meet with us in person. We host a number of events both on and off campus for you to talk with community members, who are eager to share their personal experiences. For many of these offerings, you can register online using your Ravenna account.

On Campus Events

  • Open House (October 23, 2016)

    Thank you to everyone who attended our Open House on Sunday, October 23!

    Open House is our largest event and includes current students, alumni, faculty, staff, athletic coaches and current parents who are eager to share their BC High story with you. For those who are looking for the most expansive opportunity to learn about BC High, this is the event you want to attend. You will be able to tour our campus, learn about our academic programs, and the many co-curricular opportunities available. Applying for admission and financial aid will also be addressed during our Open House. Registration is required prior to this event.

    Our next Open House will be in October 2017.

  • Information Nights (mid-November - early January)

    Information Nights are held several times during the year for both the Arrupe Division and High School. These interactive events generally have smaller audiences and provide a more focused perspective of BC High. Faculty and current students will share their experiences as you gain further insight into the BC High experience. Each program begins at 6:00 p.m. and should conclude by 8 p.m. Information Night dates include:

  • Eagle for a Day Program (mid-October - mid-March)

    Eagle for a Day program offers you the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a BC High student. You will be hosted by a current student as you attend their classes, meet their teachers and enjoy lunch in the student cafeteria. Prospective high school students will spend the entire day, while the visit for Arrupe students will conclude at 11:15 a.m. This program is offered from October 2016 through March 2017. If you have any questions after you have scheduled your visit, please call the Office of Admission at 617-474-5010.

  • Campus Tours (ongoing)

    You can also arrange for a personalized tour of BC High, where you will see classrooms, our Hyde Center for Global Education office, our fine arts facilities, athletic complex and more. Tours are offered weekdays by appointment only. We will work to accommodate your schedule, so please contact the office directly to find a convenient time.
  • Interviews (Optional)

    Interviews are not required for admission, however we do understand it may be important in your search process to meet with one of our admission counselors. Off Campus Visits

  • School Fairs (September - November)

    School Fairs are scheduled in the fall and typically are held on the campus of middle or secondary schools. These events, which are generally open to the public, provide prospective parents and students the opportunity to be introduced to a variety of schools. During these events you will have the opportunity speak individually with representatives of the Office of Admission to learn more about BC High. Pre-registration is generally not required for these events.
  • Community Information Sessions (October - December)

    Community Information Sessions provide you with an opportunity to speak with our faculty, staff, and alumni, along with current BC High students and parents in a relaxed setting. These evenings offer a deeper level of conversation about the application process, our academic programs, the BC High community, and also provide unique insights into the lives of our students and their experiences at BC High. Your family is welcome to attend any location.
  • School Visits (September - December)

    BC High Admissions staff visits a variety of schools each fall to meet with students. This is a great opportunity to ask individual questions and learn more about gaining admission to BC High. Check with your placement counselor or principal for specific dates.
