You are joining a strong community of nearly 3,000 fellow current parents and guardians who are following in the footsteps of more than 4,500 past parents. We are delighted when parents choose to get involved at BC High and many do!
BC High has four formal parent groups, in addition to the myriad of other opportunities to volunteer through your son’s activities and interests (e.g. serving concessions at the play or organizing a cookout through a sports team, or elsewhere).
CASA (“Cultural Alliance Serving All”) promotes cultural awareness and diversity and is open to all interested parents and guardians.
Mothers’ Guild and Fathers’ Group – Membership is open to all parents and guardians and both groups have a full and fun calendar of social and service opportunities. Both groups hold larger gatherings for all mothers or fathers, and/or families, as well as events for smaller groups, for example, based on class years or hometowns.
Parent Leadership Associates work with the school’s Office for Institutional Advancement on initiatives for parent fundraising for The Fund for BC High. Membership is primarily a nomination process each spring; additionally, many volunteers work with the PLA during special events.
All parents and guardians are warmly welcome to all school masses, as well as many events throughout the year, including faculty/parent book clubs, coffees, socials for newly-matriculated parents, guidance events, and much more.
