Academics at BC High
At BC High, our academic program is deeply personal and dynamic...
...offering students the opportunity to engage with their passions and intellectual curiosity in meaningful ways. Our rigor upholds the highest standard of academic excellence – but is always accompanied by levels of support, individualized for each student’s needs. Our boys often share that they anticipate classes each day, not because of an expectation to complete tasks, but because it feels like an opportunity to do something of great impact and excitement. This sentiment captures the essence of learning at BC High: where education is tailored to each student's unique interests, and the curriculum is designed to ignite a love for learning.
We prioritize creating multiple paths of learning, allowing students to explore subjects that truly inspire them and offering differentiators to highlight each boy’s strengths and interests. With a faculty dedicated to accompanying students on their educational journey, the focus is not merely on mastering content but on developing deep relationships with teachers and thoughtful engagement with the material. Our educators move beyond the traditional role of educators, walking alongside students through their successes and challenges, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. This approach ensures that our students are not only well-prepared for college but also equipped with the critical thinking skills and personal growth necessary for lifelong success.

BC High College Counseling and Preparation
At BC High, we believe college counseling is more than just filling out applications. It’s a personalized journey that helps each student discover who they are and where they want to go. Our team guides students through the process, offering steady support and encouragement every step of the way.
By the time they graduate, BC High students are more than just ready for college. They leave with a strong sense of purpose, a deep understanding of themselves, and the ability to succeed in new and challenging environments. Our graduates go on to attend a wide range of prestigious colleges and universities across the country and beyond.
Where Student Life Supports Academics at BC High
At BC High, learning doesn’t stop when class ends. Students continue to learn when they’re leading a club, helping out in the community, playing on a team, or just spending time with friends.
Our community encourages students to step up, try new things, and discover what matters to them. It’s all part of the Jesuit mission to educate the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
