Co-Curriculars at BC High
Beyond the Classroom: Ignite Your Passion
With over 100 co-curricular clubs, affinity groups, and intramural sports, you’ll have myriad opportunities to engage your passions — whether it’s starring in a theater production, celebrating your rich culture, or competing in flag football against your peers.
By taking advantage of all the extras that BC High has to offer, you’ll build community, push one another outside of your comfort zones, and as a result grow, both in confidence and character.
At BC High, there’s a sea of opportunities to expand your horizons outside the four walls of the classroom.

High School Offerings
At Boston College High School, we encourage students to explore their passions and take ownership of their growth. With over 60 clubs and co-curricular activities, there’s something for everyone—whether creative, technical, intellectual, or physical. If your passion isn’t represented, we empower you to start a new club.
Our intramural programs offer a dynamic complement to our athletic offerings, providing a fun and inclusive environment for students to stay active, socialize with friends, meet new people, or explore a new sport. With intramurals available throughout the school year, it’s easy to get involved, regardless of your experience or skill level. And if the sport you're interested in isn’t yet offered, we empower you to create one!
We are committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive community with affinity groups where every student feels seen, valued, and empowered. Guided by the Ignatian value of cura personalis—care for the whole person—we ensure that every individual experiences equity, access, and justice in all that we do.

BC High offers countless opportunities to bring your learning, culture, and passions to life. Joining The Botolphian, BC High’s 100+ year-old literary magazine, turned my love for English class into a passion for writing, helping me hone my voice and even launch a Creative Writing Contest with friends to share that love across the school. At the same time, I’ve embraced my Hispanic-Latino identity through the Hispanic Latino Association, from celebrating at the iconic HLA Social to playing dominoes and listening to salsa. As I leave BC High, I’m deeply grateful for how these co-curriculars shaped my experience, my identity, and my understanding of Jesuit values in action.
