The opportunity to serve as the next Principal of Boston College High School (BC High) is a profound calling to lead one of the nation's preeminent Jesuit, Catholic schools during an inspiring moment in its 160-year journey. As a trusted member of the President's Cabinet, the Principal becomes the heart of the school's daily life—nurturing academic excellence while fostering meaningful student formation. This role will become a partner in the next strategic plan as the current plan comes to an end.  "Vision 2026," has been a strategic vision rooted in human excellence, and arrives at a moment of genuine excitement: a historic $150 million campaign is nearing completion, transforming the beautiful 40-acre campus and opening doors for more young men to experience a BC High education regardless of financial circumstance.

The ideal candidate will be a deeply compassionate leader grounded in Ignatian spirituality and the transformative practice of cura personalis—the care for the whole person. Beyond administrative responsibilities, the Principal serves as a pastoral presence who embodies warmth, integrity, and genuine concern for each member of the community. The school seeks an educator who listens, connects, and creates spaces where nearly 1,400 students feel truly seen and supported. The Principal will champion both the school's rich classical traditions and innovative learning approaches, such as the House System and the five Centers of Human Excellence, which invite students to discover their passions and connect their learning to meaningful work in the world.
