Visit with Us

BC High is a vibrant, active campus with countless opportunities for prospective families to experience what it means to be a part of a loving community. 
The best way to learn more about BC High is to meet with us in person. We host a number of events both on and off campus for you to talk with community members, who are eager to share their personal experiences. For many of these offerings, you can register online using your Ravenna account.

  • The Eagle Experience

    The Eagle Experience is being offered on April 25, 2019 and May 22, 2019 at noon on each day. Join us for an afternoon to meet our students, hear from our teachers, explore our academic and co-curricular offerings, and tour our campus! Students will be able to attend a couple of classes while parents/guardians will engage with faculty. All families will be given complimentary admission to the Spring Musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, on April 25, or can select from several sporting events and art shows on May 22.
  • Eagle for a Day Program

    Eagle for a Day program offers you the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a BC High student. You will be hosted by a current student as you attend their classes, meet their teachers and enjoy lunch in the student cafeteria. Prospective high school students will spend the entire day, while the visit for Arrupe students will conclude at 11:15 a.m.

  • Fast Track Eagle Admission (for fall 2019)

    Interested in joining us in fall 2019? Bring your transcripts or report cards from the past 2.5 years along with your standardized test results. The Admission Committee will review your qualifications while you're enjoying The Eagle Experience or a personalized tour. At the end of your visit, we will give you a preliminary admission decision based on your academic achievements. An official acceptance will be made pending review of teacher recommendations and school report to ensure citizenship meets our standards.
  • Campus Tours

    Taking a tour is the most personal way for you to see the campus and address your individual questions. You will see classrooms, the Hyde Center for Global Education, our fine arts facilities, athletic complex, and more. Tours are generally offered Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. They are also available at other times by appointment to accommodate your schedule, so please contact the office directly by emailing admission@bchigh.edu or call 617-474-5010.
  • Interviews

    Interviews are not required for admission, however we do understand it may be important in your search process to meet with one of our admission counselors. Interviews are offered weekdays by appointment only. We will work to accommodate your schedule, so please contact the office directly by emailing admission@bchigh.edu or call 617-474-5010 to arrange a convenient time.

Off Campus Visits

  • School Fairs (September - November)

    School Fairs are scheduled in the fall and typically are held on the campus of middle or secondary schools. These events, which are generally open to the public, provide prospective parents and students the opportunity to be introduced to a variety of schools. During these events you will have the opportunity speak individually with representatives of the Office of Admission to learn more about BC High. Pre-registration is generally not required for these events. If you would like to learn if we will be at your school, please call the Office of Admission at 617-474-5010,
  • Community Information Sessions (November - December)

    Community Information Sessions provide you with an informal opportunity to speak with current BC High students and parents, along with other community members in a relaxed setting. These evenings offer a deeper level of conversation about the application process, our academic programs, the BC High community, and also provide unique insights into the lives of our students and their experiences at BC High. Your family is welcome to attend any location.

  • School Visits (September - December)

    BC High Admission staff visits a variety of schools each fall to meet with students. This is a great opportunity to ask individual questions and learn more about gaining admission to BC High. Check with your placement counselor or principal for specific dates.
