BC High is a vibrant, active campus with countless opportunities for prospective families to experience what it means to be a part of a loving community.
The best way to learn more about BC High is to meet with us in person. We host a number of events both on and off campus for you to talk with community members who are eager to share their personal experiences. For many of these offerings, you can register online using your Ravenna account.

On Campus Events

  • Information Nights

    These programs allow students and parents to engage with faculty, talk with current students, and participate in activities designed to provide more insight into the classroom experience.

    High School Enrollment Information Nights

    • Wednesday, October 2, 2019, from 6-8 p.m.
    • Tuesday, November 19, 2019, from 6-8 p.m.

    Arrupe Enrollment Information Nights

    • Tuesday, October 8, 2019, from 6-8 p.m.
    • Wednesday, December 11, 2019, from 6-8 p.m.

  • Open Houses

    At our Open Houses, you will meet current students, faculty, coaches, staff, and alumni. Take a guided tour of campus with a student who will share his transition to BC High as well as his maturation and growth at the school. Interact with faculty to learn how they will engage and challenge you in the classroom. Get the inside scoop on applying for admission and financial assistance.

    • Arrupe: October 26 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
    • High School: October 27 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

  • Eagle for a Day Program

    Eagle for a Day program offers you the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a BC High student. You will be hosted by a current student as you attend their classes, meet their teachers and enjoy lunch in the student cafeteria. Prospective high school students will spend the entire day, while the visit for Arrupe students will conclude at 11:15 a.m.

  • Campus Tours

    Taking a tour is the most personal way for you to see the campus and address your individual questions. You will see classrooms, the Hyde Center for Global Education, our fine arts facilities, athletic complex, and more. Tours are generally offered Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. They are also available at other times by appointment to accommodate your schedule, so please contact the office directly by emailing or call 617-474-5010.
  • Interviews

    Interviews are not required for admission, however we do understand it may be important in your search process to meet with one of our admission counselors. Interviews are offered by appointment only. For more information, contact the office directly by emailing or calling 617-474-5010.

  • School Fairs (September - November)

    School Fairs are held in the fall and typically take place on the campus of middle or secondary schools. These events, which are generally open to the public, provide prospective parents and students the opportunity to be introduced to a variety of schools. During these events you will have the opportunity speak with representatives from the Office of Enrollment to learn more about BC High. Pre-registration is generally not required for these events.   • Community Information Sessions (October - December)

    Community Information Sessions provide you with an informal opportunity to speak with current BC High students and parents, along with other community members in a relaxed setting. These evenings offer a deeper level of conversation about the application process, our academic programs, the BC High community, and also provide unique insights into the lives of our students and their experiences at BC High. 

    • October 15: 6:30 - 8 p.m. Marshfield Country Club, Marshfield
    • October 17: 6:30 - 8 p.m. Jeanne and John Keenan P'19, '13, '12, Private residence in Quincy
    • October 22: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Tea & Treats, Charlestown
    • November 14: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Kari and Dan O'Donnell P'20, Private residence in Cohasset
    • TBA in Hanover/Norwell, So. Boston, Newton, Hull, Abington, Braintree and Milton
  • School Visits (September - December)

    BC High Enrollment staff visits a variety of schools each fall to meet with students. This is a great opportunity to ask individual questions and learn more about gaining admission to BC High. Check with your placement counselor or principal for specific dates.
