Shields Fellows Scholarship Application
Congratulations on your acceptance at Boston College High School!
Your hard work and dedication to excellence in your academic and community life are commendable. As a young man who grew up in Brockton, my mom, Mary Jane Murphy Shields, dropped me off at BC High and said it would be the best experience of my life. And boy was she right! That’s why my wife, Kathy, and I are now privileged to offer an opportunity to other young men from Brockton to be part of the Shields Fellows Scholarship Program so that they may have the best experience of their lives.
This year, we will accept four (4) Shields Fellows who will receive:
- Full tuition coverage for all four years
- Dedicated mentorship from faculty and industry leaders
- Enrichment opportunities through leadership workshops and hands-on projects
- Real-world engagement via service-learning and global partnerships
For students: Please complete the application and forward the link to the community reference form to a teacher, mentor, or other community individual of your choice.
For parents/guardians: Please complete the designated part of the application.
Shields Fellows Scholarship applications are due by March 21, 2025.
