What to Expect

Think you’d be a good fit for our community?

Great—we can’t wait to get started!

Our enrollment process is designed to be easy, accessible, and transparent. We want you to spend as much time as you need getting to know our school and asking questions about our academics, co-curriculars, student life, and service learning. That’s why we offer multiple opportunities to visit our campus, chat with students and teachers, and even sit in on classes.

Step 1: Plan a Visit to Campus

When it comes to truly getting a feel for a school, there’s no substitute for an in-person visit. Whether you attend a tour or spend a day sitting in on classes, you’ll leave with a better sense of who we are and whether you belong here.

Step 2: Apply

Ready to apply? It’s easy to get started. An online application portal, Ravenna, keeps all your application materials—including transcripts, standardized test scores, and letters of recommendation—in one convenient place.

Students entering Grades 7-8 are required to take the ISEE exam. We are prepared to accept the MAP test but are awaiting specifics from Boston Public Schools on the timing and format for receiving results.

Students entering Grades 9-11 can take any one of the following:
Grade 9: HSPT or SSAT
Grades 10 or 11: HSPT, SSAT, ISEE, MCAS, PARCC, PSAT, SAT, or ACT

The application deadline for Grade 9 is January 3, 2021.

The application deadline for Grades 7, 8, 10 & 11 is January 31, 2021.
